Well, I don’t have any of the new pistons so this may not work, but have a look at this setup (click for larger view):



With the new pistons, you should be able to use the new 1x2 liftarms instead. To get the liftarm to seat properly over the tubing, tug on the tubing while sliding the liftarm closer to the piston. My only concern is that this may exert to much lateral pressure on the piston inlet if the load is too great. Ye be warned... :-)
