Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

(...) In a way your right, your saying the "look" of Technic has changed and that we have to change our building style. But this isn't the actual problem as far as I'm concerned. Almost all the great builders on this forum combine technic with (...) (23 years ago, 22-Feb-02, to lugnet.technic)

Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

Having followed all the discussion on this topic, I have finally decided to add my two cents worth. I have decided that the Technic line has now evolved into a different toy, and for many of us having being used to the "traditional" Technic, it has (...) "...if it were my company I would use it...and try to remedy" implies fairly strongly that what you suggest is (in your mind) different to what's happening now. And the overwhelmingly (...)   Re: Is "traditional" Technic being killed off?

Some great points have been made here. I actually really like most of the new parts (particularly the various axle connectors), but it does seem that the functionality of the average Technic model is less advanced than that of five years ago. I can't answer your question, but there's one other thing you might also try. There is a third type of shock absorber with a spring rate in between the light gray and yellow shocks.
