(...) I only found out today that the old 5271 solid tyre's have an indentical clone in the 6852 which is a 'hollow' or real balloon tyre as it's filled with air. Hi I have 3 copies of the 8860 and i believe that they all use the grey taps - but i have MISB 8860 in the attic somewhere, so i will have a look for it tonight and to see if it has the chrome ones on? Do you remeber when you opened your 8860 that (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I've got two copies, one of which which I got for Christmas in the year of release. Both use 'Shock Absorber 6.5l's. I always assumed (even as a kid) that the box photo was a prototype and the shocks were added due to some design flaw of the (...) (24 years ago, 17-May-01, to lugnet.technic)
