To get to the gears, you need to open up the micromotor from the other side, the round side. If you look at the black round part (the part that's supposed to spin around when powered), you will see a red ring around it. Use a thin knife to pry this (...) (24 years ago, 10-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

A while ago, I could have sworn I saw a website that described how to take apart the red micromotors, but now I can't find it. I've got a micromotor that won't unjam (who doesn't :-), and I figure a look inside can't hurt. But I can't get the thing (...) (24 years ago, 10-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

I just got my new 5223 Wind Up Motor It is very interesting and complicated. It has some set of internal clutches. It is normally in a neutral gear, free-wheeling mode. If you have it rightside up and tap it, a winding clutch engages. It takes about (...) (24 years ago, 9-Mar-01, to lugnet.technic)

The Throwbot cases (the ones that are supposed to go on your belt) have slots in them where the discs fit. Hello (...) Would it be best to put the masks in to little tubs first and if and when the collection is comfirmed by Lego, then you get a rough idea how many more to come.
