  Re: Technicopedia

(...) The site is a history of Technic, not a history of LEGO. I am certainly not an expert in all of the other LEGO themes. I don't tend to mention "regular" parts like bricks and plates which may have been used across a wide range of sets, but try (...) (17 years ago, 21-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I like your site, sofar and as other already have stated it looks very promising. But the principle about describing parts as new just because it is the first time it is seen in a Technic-set I disagree with In the description of the 856 (...) (17 years ago, 20-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic)

(...) I think these are great, though I can't help thinking that forcing the clutch gear to slip a lot of the time is being a bit rough on the LEGO. I know you were making these from the Bulldozer. But given other parts, how about driving the axle (...) (17 years ago, 19-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) Your respons is exactly why I am doing this. When I first got into Technic, I knew I wanted to collect some of the older sets, but it was hard to decide which. The only resource available was the Lugnet list which shows a picture of each set, (...) (17 years ago, 17-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic)

(...) Many, many sets have had either photographic or full instructions for motorizing the main or alternate model. What I meant by "official" is that the original 4.5V motor, battery box, 12V motor, and gearboxes did not come with any sets. There (...) (17 years ago, 16-Nov-07, to lugnet.technic, FTX)

(...) Well, I'm not sure what you mean by "official", but there were photographic instructions in the 8860 chassis set on how to include 870 and 872 to provide power.
