By now most of us have seen the list of the upcomming Star Wars sets with
their prices. (if you haven't yet don't go surfin' around our friends at Lego
yanked them).  My question is now that this information is not allowed to be
posted, how much are we allowed to say concerning them.  I would love to
discuss some of the possibilities I see in the upcomming sets, but I fear
cancelation.  So I am not mentioning these sets to avoid censorship, but
someone please let me know what I can say.

I doubt TLG could do anything to cancel posts or Web pages that speculate
around POSSIBLE future releases (that's all they are, after all, until we
see them in stores or on www.lego.com). Also, any company who tries to be
an information fascist will inevitably end up killing themselves off by
bullying their strongest advocates (the fans) around...

AFAIK, several people have mentioned a TIE Fighter as a probable 2001
release. The price tag mentioned has been around $20 (hey, I mentioned it
myself a month or two ago). That's speculation. If it turns out to be
true, great.

I still believe that the TLG presence here & elsewhere online is way too
low, & would point to 'The Cluetrain Manifesto - The End of Business as
Usual' (ISBN: 0-7382-0244-4) for a few radical & interesting ideas on how
marketing can be used to create an interface between company & audience
instead of as a huge sledgehammer trying to bash a positioning & profile
into the heads of the target users...
