Indeed. I think it was very poorly done. I thought the helmet could have
several uses, but they saved a nice chunk of change on producing one
mold instead of two (For instance, the plant I worked at, the car parts
molds ran from 100,000USD to 1.4 million USD)

I just got hold of a #7144 Slave I, after a too-long wait. I no sooner than opened it when I noticed something: Boba Fett's jetpack is attached to his helmet?! This may be just fine for some 10 year old, but as an AFOL, I had great hopes for Fett. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)
