Guys,
I have been eagerly waiting on the next batch of star wars kits from TLG as
much as anyone. I have taken my time and looked carefully at the 2000 catalog.
While I agree that the MF may leave something to be desired in terms of detail
and scale, we all have to admit that the coolest thing about it being LEGO in
the first place is that we can tweak, revise, rebuild and concoct out own MF
which suits our individual tastes perfectly. It is a pretty cool looking kit
overall and considering the price/scale limitations.
There is no other toy/hobby/obsession which offers that feature while only
using such common components. I know I will be buying one or two, and probably
the rest of you will as well.
Now I do think the new ARCTIC stuff looks really cool.

| (...) very (...) to me (...) two (...) they (...) the (...) Actually, it is possible. I build 6-wide fire trucks, also the 6-wide hummer I posted to cad.dat.models a while back seats two across. Both figs will fit in the area if they are sitting on (...) (25 years ago, 9-Nov-99, to lugnet.starwars)
