However just because they are advertising it as a Rebel Blockade Runner,
doesn't mean it is the Tantive IV.  Which is the only one we saw.   (Or was
it?  There might have been another in the attack on either Death Star, I • would
have to go watch the movies again to be sure.)  But anyhow, I would be • suprised
to find out that the only RBR they rebellion had was the Tantive IV.

The Rebel Blockade Runner was the rebel callsign (codename) of the Tantive • IV.
There was only one Rebel Blackade Runner. The RBR was a Correllian Corvette,
which was used by the Empire and the Rebellion. So if TLC is advertising the
Corvette as the RBR then it is a model of the Tantive IV.

Blending in anonymously amongst galactic space traffic, so many Corvettes
have been converted for smuggling or covert uses that they are some times
called "Blockade Runners."

Well the "Star Wars: Behind the Magic" CD-ROM it states; (not verbatim, but
close enough) that the Empire belived the 'Rebel Blockade Runner' was a
massive ship with enough firepower to defeat several Star Destroyers.  They
discovered that it was merely a Corvette when Lord Vader capture Princess Leia.

Conflicting offical sources are kind of annoying as the movies do not really
provide any clarification.  I do not recall a lower canon source such as one of
the expansion novels ever refering to a Corvette as a 'Blockade Runner'. If
there is such a reference then the Empire is silly for overreacting about the
'Rebel Blockade Runner.'
