Re: #7191 UCS X-Wing brief review

(...) Mine ended up angled slightly upwards, too. I think this is intentional. If you look closely at the instructions, when the mechanism is set to the position where the wings would be open, the top brackets are angled very high and the bottom (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) I have to agree with you completely on this one. I feel as if I've gone to a cafeteria, and the server has slapped some food on my tray and that's my lunch. Horrible presentation - here are your pieces, now go play and leave us alone. The (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: #7191 UCS X-Wing brief review

The Kenner figure works pretty good. It's a tight fit, and I had to do some disassembly of the cockpit to get him in, but otherwise - it's a nice fit. A side note - the Tie Fighter cockpit has much more room and it's quite easy to fit a pilot in. (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  #7191 UCS X-Wing brief review

Well, after passing my driving test on the first try I decided to get myself a present to celebrate. Armed with TLG's coupon for $15 off, I headed to my local TRU (Emeryville, CA). They had all the new SW sets including the Millenium Falcon (I'll (...) (24 years ago, 1-Sep-00, to lugnet.starwars)

Re: Pictures of Enfield Model Shop

(...) I believe the 'yellow thing' is an RCX controlled gumball machine. The gumballs would follow the flexing 'track' and end up at the bottom. I've seen it while it was under construction, but I've never seen it in operation. Speaking from (...) (24 years ago, 31-Aug-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.people, lugnet.starwars)

(...) I didn't see anyone comment on it, but in the upper right corner of this picture ((URL) is the big Gungan 4-legged creature used against the AATs and the MTTs. Pretty neat.
