  AT-AT and pilot

Would really look foward to a set featuring the AT-AT and its minifig pilot. Can't think of it as being really cheap tho, being such a huge machine to start with. My wish list also includes those cool looking red imperial guards. Now that makes me (...) (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  New-being (Re: Boba Fett's jetpack)

(...) <grin> Yeah, it's good... adds to my (low) self-esteem too. (...) Great! (...) Glad you did! (...) You don't have to get it back on track... just change the name and set follow- ups to a different place ;-) (FUT lugnet.people) BTW, looks like (...)   Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

LOL. Warm and fuzzy, huh? Well, that's good. Oh, BTW, I'm a kind of person who basically jumps into something headfirst and hopes he can get out in one piece, so I don't feel like a newbie. I've been visiting Lugnet regularly for about a month, and (...) (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

Ahh, Shiri. I've been seeing you pop up all over the place, esp. .castle. I've just recently posted stuff, and I'd like to take this opportunity to say that your castle stuff is pretty cool. Oh, yeah. I think the starwars heads are the best too, (...) (25 years ago, 23-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) The robe design is not original to the SW. The FK robes had the same design w/different colors, as with the Jungle Adventurers sets. (...) Yah, me too! The SW faces are the best *I've* seen around - don't know bout you... :-) -Shiri (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

In lugnet.starwars, James Howse writes: <ka-schnip!> (...) The click hinges were a simultaneous release between Star Wars and Rock Raiders in 1999, not a SW exclusive. They can be found in 4940 Granite Grinder, 4950 Loader Dozer, 4970 Chrome Crusher (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) For reference The 'laser cannon' peices (in black) are used in the new soccer light stand, set 3402. The 'x-wing engine' appears in the upcoming microcopter for the adverturers (I'm not entirely sure but that's what it looks like). The click (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) minifig (...) Rebellion (...) I got to agree about the hoods, but I think the Jedi robe design could be used for other things. I also like the way they did the faces (with the thin eyebrows and non-smileys), and although they don't have to use (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) Kaadu (or is it Kaadus?) (...) I really hope it isn't 'any new element introduced in a SW set'...the 2x4 extremely low slopes were originally SW, no? Here's hoping the Jedi hoods aren't included either, or the tan and grey hairpieces...or the (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

I'd say the cockpit pieces, plus the laser cannons could be used in other lego themes (the cockpits would probably have to have a different paint job, though.) I think pieces like Boba's hlmet/backpack, Jar Jar's head and the Eopies from the Gungan (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

(...) What exactly is a "Star Wars element" though? I find that one very hard to define... So what happens if TLC uses the cockpit pieces in a non-SW related model? I don't think Lucasfilms can be so "possessive" of their designs. "That laser cannon (...) (25 years ago, 22-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars)

I dont think its the coolest thing Lego could of done, but I don’t think you’re taking into account that EVERY star wars element Lego produces is the Intellectual Property of Lucasfilms and can never be used in another Lego theme.   Re: Future Wild West Possibilities

(...) Hmmm, I wonder if (to get this back "on topic" for .starwars) if TLG can't acquire a license to "F Troop"...or maybe to "Glory" (but then they'd have to handle race in minifigs, wouldn't they?). Idle speculation, and naturally it's got zero (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.western, lugnet.starwars)

  Re: Boba Fett's jetpack

I thought the helmet could have several uses, but they saved a nice chunk of change on producing one mold instead of two (For instance, the plant I worked at, the car parts molds ran from 100,000USD to (...)
