(...) Okay?? There is a guy inside the suit, right? So then why would another person be needed to do the voice? (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

(...) Of course he is black! Who's colour blind here? Isn't the costume black or what colour is it? If it the person inside you are talking about, he is white, duh. It wouldn't make any sense for him to be black since he is Anakin Skywalker and as (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general)

  Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

(...) minifigs... (...) Agreed 100%. This only means that the company is working to make the product even better. At brickfest, I asked during the QandA if the NBA race/plastic color was going to continue into the other themes like world city. The (...) (...) Pah! Do-gooders never do. And they'll wonder why when he starts dressing all in black and going crazy with a lightsabre in a respectable merchant's own place of business, leaving no-one alive. Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.loc.au, FTX)

Re: Star Wars on DVD (was Re: Brickfest 2003 Question and Answer)

(...) That's news to me. The only thing I've ever heard on this is that putting together a DVD that isn't just a flat, plastic, non-magnetic VHS tape takes a lot of work. GL wants to be involved in that process (as is his right), and he won't have (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

Star Wars on DVD (was Re: Brickfest 2003 Question and Answer)

(...) According to an interview I read, (I think on starwars.com), the reason the original trilogy has not been released is because after episode 3, they are going to further and/enhance the original trilogy. The Archival Edition will be the one (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, FTX)

  Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

(...) Ever wondered why people that have been baked under the twin suns of Tattooine for generations have such fair skin? Luke and all his family should have been played by black people. Cheers, Allister (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: 10123 Cloud City

(...) I'd say that that's a pretty good guess. Unfortunately, far from solving or eliminating the problem, it makes it worse. In effect, LEGO is saying "we'll only deal with the issue of 'race' when it's forced upon us, and even then we'll only deal (...) (21 years ago, 11-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.dear-lego)

Richard & All, (...) Interesting. (...) Right, I think that was an appropriate move for that. I am no fan of the NBA, I have not bought any as of yet (Discounts are not enough for me) (...)   Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

(...) Ew, no. I couldn't disagree more. I have no problem with real basketball players being depicted with more naturalistic skin tones. I have no probem with Lando being brown.   Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

(...) Aren't you forgetting about a minor character who popped up in the first few movies by the name of Darth Vader? Personally, I think you guys have too much time on your hands.   Re: Lando minifig picutre HERE

  Re: 10123 Cloud City

i don't think you guys are differentiating the releases from both LEGO Direct and TLC properly. LEGO direct items are S@H and LEGO Retail exclusive items, and i guess it goes into a trial period before retailers opt to carry them, like the RBR, (...) (21 years ago, 11-Aug-03, to lugnet.starwars)

(...) Always? I don't think so... the first we heard of that policy was at the release of the NBA figures.
