Very good. I agree with Tim. I have in the past simplified my docking
rings for the sake of lack of pieces because my ships are very big and I
needed the pieces elsewhere. But I like the idea a lot. You can also do
male versions of the floor unit since we now have 2x2 plates with bottom
mounted pegs widely available (AT-ST, Alpha-team helicopter) in cheap sets.
I like that because I like the idea of a small fighter craft mounted
sideways to the side exterior of a ship, so that you can have a small fleet
of "parasite" fighters and you lose the need for a fighter bay.
Come to think of it, that is a really great idea! Why didn't I think of
that before? Tim! A new idea for Scott's ship! A sub-capital cruiser that
acts like a carrier!
:^D I'm going to go make some parasite fighters.
