I put together some mock-ups of my ideas for a docking ring. You can

| (...) Very good. I agree with Tim. I have in the past simplified my docking rings for the sake of lack of pieces because my ships are very big and I needed the pieces elsewhere. But I like the idea a lot. You can also do male versions of the floor (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.space)

| It's simple and sweet, but as others pointed out it would be desireable to not have to worry about the "sex" of the rings. What if you replaced two of the corner "sockets" on the female wall port with "pins" from the male wall port. Make sure that (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.space)

| (...) Well I am coming into this a week late but... I really like those docking rings. I personally would probably only use "female" ports and just stick pegs in when ships actually dock. That would eliminate the Gender specifics but still allow all (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.space)
