Well I breakdown space as such:

Classic is the lower ranks of Futron.  Both Space police themes are special
divisions of Futron.  (It's all in the Space Emblem.)

Futron (inclusive of the aforementioned), M-tron, Ice Planet, Unitron, and
Exploriens make up the Galactic Confederation.

Blacktron (both), Spyrius, and Robo Force form the Darktron Protectorate.
(Then I found someone already used Darktron so for the time being I just call
it the D-tron Protectorate.)

UFO are the Aliens and Insectoids are geneticlly engineered to fight for UFO.
(Some have "human" oxygen backpacks and some have Alien life support shoulder
packs.)

Then came that whole rip in the fabric of space and two technologically
inferior groups showed up.  The Galacitic Empire and the Rebel Alliance.  (i.e.
Star Wars)

I am guessing I will use the 2001 martians as freindly to the Galactic
Confederation.

That is my take on Space.

I don't know why, but this has been on my mind for a while. What do you think that each denomination or subtheme of the now dead Space theme was? Here are my ideas: <big 5> Classic: Civilians Blacktron: The evil doers that every storyline must have. (...) (24 years ago, 4-Nov-00, to lugnet.space)
