Another point on putting space train track on the edge of modules - it
becomes vitally important that you follow a strict six-wide rule on your
trains. i.e. not even half a plate of overhang is allowed for ladders or
handles. The trains must be able to squeeze through a six-wide gap.

Flibbity Floo. Any system that has such heavy restrictions on building
creativity sucks and should be abandoned. I mean really. Why bother with
incorporating trains at all?

Its not that hard to do you know, so long as youve grown out of
Duplo!
Only kidding. You dont have to do any of that. Its just if you want to
make big wide diesel-guzzling stacked intermodal space trains theyd be limited
to the periphery and inter-base travel. Smaller ones can serve the local
spaceman communitys intra-base transport needs.
Unless of course this is the start of a campaign for 64x64 moonbase modules with
5.333333333333333333333333333333333333333333 studs around the edges?
