OK, here goes my 2nd MOC posting.  The first was the New Omicron Republic Senate
- http://news.lugnet.com/announce/moc/?n=2467&t=f&v=a

This is one of the surviving members of the space fleet which escaped the
original planet of Omicron; the O.S.S. Pastier.  You can read about some of her
history on my MOCpages:

http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/7518

I didn't quite realized I should have posted all the pictures I wanted to
comment about in one folder on brickself so only some of the pics are on that
site.  All the pictures (sans comments until I reorganize the MOCpage) can be
found at the brickshelf site:

http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=115211

(they are organized here into subfolders for a little easier viewing)

There is a sister ship I hope to take pictures of eventually (and which I think
looks a little better in form - this one started off as a design study of a
hangar bay and just kinda became a spaceship; it looks kinda like a train with
skis but there are a lot of really cool interior details).

Some highlights:
-two story warp core which can drop out of the ship.
-the entire ship comes apart in 3 main sections for access to the interior (plus
the nacelles come off and the roof comes off)
-crew of 25 captained by Jonathan Modelle
-3 decks:
A deck (bottom): *front to back* torpedo room, hangar bay for two support craft,
mechanical repair and sensor room, airlock control, crew quarters, washroom,
science lab, transporter room, engineery access room, engine repair shop, main
engine room, and weapon control room.
B deck (one level up): astrometrics, mess hall, captains quarters, probe launch
bay, hydroponics, crew quarters, sick bay, environmental controls, upper engine
room, fushion reactor control room,
C deck: bridge
-2 support craft:
-one small FTL capable fighter with folding wings for storage
-one 3 person shuttlepod for small sublight travel.
-access spine along bottom of ship is accessible by various access ports
throughout.

Comments and constructive criticism MORE than welcome.  I have a lot of comments
myself (and the next ship improves on a lot of this stuff) but I thought I'd
post this one anyway.

Thanks for looking!
Jeff Pelletier
