I would love to... But, sobs, I don’t know how to build stuff without guns & missiles... I’m so embarrassed. :-(

Hey Mladen,

Actually, when I look at this ship, I don’t see warship. If you removed the guns and missiles, and replaced them with telescopes and radar dishes, you’d have a very interesting looking science vessel.

Yeah, you’re right Lenny. I think the general shape lends itself better to non-military roles.

I’m very intrigued by how you achieved the studless look by using large-scale snot. I’d been playing with some ideas on how to do this in my head, and you’ve gone and perfected the concept. Perhaps I may steal the idea in a future moc. I really like how you did the floors so that they are removable. Another attributes that I may have to steal for a future MOC.

Oh, it’s pretty simple. The whole ship is built sideways, save for the engines. You just connect the two together and bam... you got a nice combo.

Then you just proceed to adding details on the outside. I think the key is to make a clean “base” model, and then add stuff on to it.

Like JHK said, the shape is so odd and unonventional, that it takes a moment to really figure out. Actually, I like it better upside down rather than right side up. It seems more militaristic that way, too. If you added a turret or something else on the top (per Mark’s suggestion), it would prolly help too.

Yeah, when I was photographing it upside down I noticed it looked more aggressive. The problem is that the sides kept wanting to fall down; I didn’t make any locking system for them. :-(

As for the turret on top, it wouldn’t have allowed the sides to open up fully.

That said, on a larger model, all of these problems could have been corrected.

Otherwise, it is very nice and innovative use of pieces.

Thank you once again!
