  Re: Spyder autonomous defense droid

(...) Thanks, it was unintentional, it just came out that way (which is good). (...) I thought there was something I could do. Thanks! (...) (22 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Stinky Pete's tow truck

(...) Thanks Adrian! Yeah, I think it is missing some traditional trucky-lights and stripes. I'll try that in my next civilian MOC. I thought about using that red mechanic logo from the town tow truck... -JHK (22 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Stinky Pete's tow truck

(...) Space-hillbilly's. I'll try that. Sounds like it would fit in the dusty Outer Rim... Thanks for the response and the suggestions. -JHK (22 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: ROLLIN ROLLIN ROLLIN

(...) Um, you may want to seek medical attention for that bite there, Nathan. I quite like the cyborg. it has a great balance of zoomorphical and mechanical qualities. (...) (cloak) Pssst! Ben. Look again (while I distract him.) Those aren't new pivots at all. (decloak) Excellent SNOT, Chris. I like the look of these. Reminiscent of (but not as leggy as) (URL) Phil Painter's BE-TLE>, they appear to have (...) (22 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: Spyder autonomous defense droid

(...) nice job... these are neat really. I like that there is relatively small and hard to hit. I could see a whole pack being able to hit all at once, and being able to dodge a lot of the incoming fire power! I am not a big fan of the new pivot (...) (22 years ago, 18-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

Re: What's a Hover Dirt Bike?

(...) Thanks Gil, The 'diorama' approach does beat the hanging sheet backdrop, for sure. I believe that (URL) Paul> and (URL) Keith> (among others) would agree it takes rather a lot more bricks to build a background for some MOCs. The 'bike' is only (...)   Spyder autonomous defense droid

The Spyder autonomous defense droid is used mainly for the purpose of base defense. It's relatively weak armor and use of one autocannon means it needs to stay in a big group, or work together in packs. Programmed to be quite determined and (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.space)

  Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

(...) Ryan, this thing is amazing. I've been pretty heavy into lurker mode as of late, but I had to give kudos for this one. Bots with capes? I'd expect something like that from a tortured 'artiste' like Deering. I think you've been hangin' with pot-bot for too long. Why not a beret, or epaulettes?   Re: Jade Empire: Jiao-zhan Dou

Hey Ryan, this little Jade empire number is pretty sweet. It looks like it was inspired by your cylon-p38, with a little podness thrown in for good measure. The use of the dino-tails was a nice flavor to help set it apart as a JE construct. Upon (...) (22 years ago, 17-Apr-04, to lugnet.space, FTX)
