Very nice! For some reason, the form looks like a submarine to me. I have to think about where I’ve seen this shape before.

Submarine? Hmm, that’s a new one. Interesting, though.

I know where I’ve seen it: put a tail fin above and below it, and the overall shape looks very much like Blue Submarine #6 (an anime film).

The other thing it reminds me of is the Y-Wing, though barely.

I may borrow your cockpit design for a larger terrestial vehicle. Or at least be inspired by it.

Yeah, I like inspiring people. Doesn’t happen much, though. ;)

That will change. I think a submarine design around the Firebird would look sleek.

Incidently, my middle name matches yours. You ever been called John Henry? You know, to differentiate from all the other Johns out there?

That’s what my parents call me. It can be tough to get all of those small-minded high school teachers to remember, though.

When I was in high school, I had an English project where my two groupmates were Jon & John. Boy, did we drive our teacher up the wall. T - “Jon?” J1 - “You mean me?” T - “No the other John.” J2 - “Oh, me.” T - “No, oh, never mind. Just sit down, you three.”

Lol! Never had that happen... I’ve had a relatively John-free school experience.

Yeah, I’ve noticed there are less Johns around now. The name has been slipping on the baby name list: when I was born, John was #6 on the list. Last year, it was #17 (in the USA). For more useless stats on baby names, check out the Social Security Administration’s website. But the “Group of Johns” was a bit of fun. Had those same experiences on the soccer team, freshman dorm, etc.

Give it some time, you’ll have a John experience sooner or later.
