MOC: Futuron II - a complete theme! —David Simmons
Hey all, After dawdling for weeks, I finally got cracking this weekend and took pictures of one of my latest projects. Futuron II is a complete theme, from the smallest miniship to the biggest base. It's my way of showing what I'd like to see when (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space) !

(...) A tonne of work in here Dave! A lot of interesting things you done here, and all most obviously in the same theme....I imagine your red and white bins are nearly empty. :) I quite like the ambulance as far as the vehicles go. The droid, the (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) This is a very sweet MOC theme. I love the spaceships and the multi-configurations using click hinges! Great job! The only thing I'd ask for is... more! Take care, Dave K (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Thanks Dave! I do have one more model I want to build; the vehicle that actually excavates the meteors/asteroids and transports them back to base. Dave (21 years ago, 22-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) I have to say, this is an extremely well thought-out theme you've created. It seems like you tried to mimic, for the most part, all of the LEGO price points. Well done! I think my only complaint is the MAW just has too dang many of those Star (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space, FTX)

Wow. That is an awesome project. I think the ambulance makes the best use of the color scheme. Really my only dislike is the overall color scheme. Trans-red, while one of my favorite colors for accents, as windows just clashes horribly with the dark (...) (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)

(...) Wow, this is really nice. Very well thought out, by the looks of it. I really liked the VTOL ambulance. And that first shot of the entire base is pretty. I'm impressed. In tandem with Gil, I feel sorry for your red and white bins. :-) -Chris (21 years ago, 21-Jul-03, to lugnet.space)
