I know I've seen a BT1 holding up the Monorail in one of those catalogs.
Anyway, Futuron would make a worthy addition to the hall of fame, but I
gotta say--at the rate of one a month, we're gonna run out of figs soon.

..This would be because I am not a space connaisseur :-)

I didn't know Blacktron was supposed to be the bad guy.  I admit, while • I'm a
huge space fan, I know very little about classic space.

Here's a proposition for you guys:

Try, as a group, to decide what the description of Blacktron 1 should be • and
I'll change it, crediting it to the .space newsgroup here on Lugnet.  If • you
like the idea, you can also prepare something for Classic Space and even • for
Futuron, if that minifig was to win.

If?  If?!?!  *When* Futuron wins, oh yes, we will have a description for
you...
</space zealot attitude>

It's no prob.  I wouldn't know anything about castle stuff (or town, or
anything not space, really).  A description for Blacktron I.  Hmmmmm...

"Don't let that classic minifig smile fool you--Blacktron I was the first
and definitive bad guy for Lego Space.  Piloting sinister-looking vehicles
and hiding behind Lego's first black visor, the Blacktrons lived to turn the
utopia of Futuron upside down.  And they did it in matchless style."

While I'm making suggestions, if it's not too much trouble, you may want to
retake the picture of him with the visor down.  Lighting may be harder, but
the higher coefficient of EVIL I think would be worth it.  >;)

(...) I disagree. Since you are refering to the classic minifig smile in the opening sentence of your description, I believe that a picture showing that smile enhances the description more that a picture with the visor down. With friendly greetings, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Jun-03, to lugnet.space)
