The flower pot bits are actually dark grey and come from the UCS X-wing.
The engine exaust end pieces.  (George forgive me I can't remember the
engine type, Ion?  no,  Fusion?  Dang! Can't remember)
Anyway, I love the things, personally think they are one of the coolest bits
Lego has produced.  I just put some wheel hubs on the ends and you got one
cool looking engine bit.  You can also put the inverted 2x2 round tiles in
the ends and get a pretty cool effect.  See it here:

Very nice, solidly built.  BTW, what are those brown 'flower-pot' looking
pieces on the front of the engines from?
