| | iPAQ <-> RCX serial communication
| Hello People I am working on a project where we are trying to use a compaq handheld with linux and a wireless card as the "brain" of robots. "Underneath" we have an RCX acting as a "spine", which is supposed to receive macro commands from the PC and (...) (22 years ago, 21-Nov-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.java)

| | lcd display on RCX 1.0
| NQC: with RCX2, it has a function to display a user defined value. Is there a way to do it with RCX 1.0? How about just to display the current mail value with RCX1.0? Suggestion? Thanks in advance. --Elizabeth (17 years ago, 24-Jun-07, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

| | Re: How to setup gcc and make in cygwin
| I, too, have been at it for three weeks. gcc and bintools build OK under cygwin, but when it gets to the cross-compiler, the whole make process craps out. The compile fails because some of the cross-compiler sources are (complaining about) missing (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

| | Serial Input
| I have a question. I'm working with LegOS, and I want to know how to read serial input through the IR port. I know with other firmware, it's pretty easy to set-up and write serial data out, but I want to read this data back in. Actually, I'm trying (...) | | Re: Does anyone have an extra usb IR tower for sale?
| I'm working on a kernel mode driver for Linux for the IR Tower. Overall from everything I've figured out, this is just a USB Serial device; porting code in win32 from COM1 (Serial interface from old serial one) -> LEGOTOWER1 (The USB Tower device (...) | | How much current from RCX ports
| I see around here, people are playing around with diffrent types of things to put on the RCX output port. Like not orginal lights, motors, bells and so on. Some even puts several motors on one port. How much current can you drain from one RCX port? (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

| | LegOS USB Support (for RCX 2.0)
| I have added USB support to LegOS's firmdl, dll, and lnp under Windows. If anyone also has the USB IR tower (which LegOS's tools can't work with normally) instead of the RS232 tower, I can send out the modified source. - Hary (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)
