Hello! I have compiled succesfully brickos-0.2.6.10.6 under linux. After I installed it I loaded brickos.srec and helloworld.lx into the RCX. This time I tried to load an lx file I got the following error: "error deleting program" and after trying (...) (20 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

Well, I have Robolab 2.5.2 and a Dexxa webcam (Logitech Quickcam clone), and that works fine on Windows XP. I originally had problems getting the camera to work with my MOTHERBOARD as it has a VIA chipset and the USB drivers needed updating, but (...) I use the Keyspan TWIN adapter (USB to serial port) along with a simple mac-to-pc style serial adapter (I think it came with a Pilot 1000 many years ago). The TWIN adapter is a bit pricey, but I bought it because it also works with externally synced (...) (24 years ago, 28-Aug-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.nqc)

There was a slight oversight on my part. You need cygwin1.dll (from Redhat's cygwin package, available at (URL) in order to run the binary. A power adapter port? As in an AC/DC plug on the RCX? I've heard the RCX1.0 has them but I didn't see one on my RCX 2.0 (says RCX 2.0 on the top too, all fancy like..heh). Pinnacle Systems has a USB video capture device which allows one to capture the analog video signal. Works great with software like the Exploration Mars software, which just checks if you have a video input of some sort. Vision command, however, (...)   3Com HomeConnect camera - very Lego-compatible
 
Hey, I just discovered that my 3Com HomeConnect USB camera is extremely Lego-compatible. It's so close I have a feeling it's not an accident. I built a very nice pan-tilt mechanism for it. What fun!
