The iMac, iBook and G4 all work 100% fine with MacNCQ and the Keyspan
single port 'PDA' usb/serial adaptor. It just appears in the pull down
menu. The keyspan RS422? 'two' ADB style port usb/serial adaptor does not
work for me; unless I use a break out box with a bit of impedance matching
and even then it is an unreliable hack. (http://www.keyspan.com, about 79$
at Compuware).
I've had no suck luck with the Hayes 8 serial port PCI card.
