Ooh, you're right. This seems to be too much for battery powered models. Has anybody a better idea? I want to have a sensor with gives a linear (?) signal corresponding to a distance. For an 1-bit boolean signal I saw a plan in elektor 9/2000 (...) (24 years ago, 3-Oct-00, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

  New to PBforth - a few questions
 
Hello, I just installed PBforth and the associated GUI interface. It works great! However I do have a few questions to anyone who can help. If I type or just hit the enter key things seem OK. (OK, I know this sounds perverse, but heck, some high-end printers these days are coming with built-in webservers for configuration, so it's not that perverse.) I (another newbie) also would like to upload data from the RCX to a Windows PC. It looks like adding the data to a StringBuffer would be a good way to save it, but I have not much of a clue about how to write (1) the Java that runs on the PC to (...) (...) Yes. I found on article on using the battery voltage to determine the same thing, i.e. more current, less volts. To do it you need replacement firmware. Shutting down the GUI and starting it back up has no effect, pbForth continues to respond correctly. Adding words to the dictionary doesn't seem to make any difference either. Whether having just uploaded the firmware or having the RCX active for (...) (22 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.pbforth)

I'm trying to write a BrickOS program that I can use to check the voltage on other RCXs (which use standard firmware). We are working with a image recognition system on a Linux machine that computes the position of robots and sends an integrity packet of 18bytes (...)
