Hi, I'm interested in the electronical function of the three sensor inputs of the RCX. I took an osilloscope and measured the voltage of the ports. NGLTC (and other train club) members have been getting creative with their mindstorms. 1) Rail Racers! 2) Lewis Valentine has made a working train drawbridge on the NGLTC layout. Basically there's enough light coming through that it would expose film quite quickly. Also, the ambient does have light in it. If the lego sensor isn't sensitive enough, could I easily replace it with another? (20 years ago, 14-Jul-04, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

From the picture (d1_p31) it looks as though all 4 RCXs can see the tower. I don't know anything about pcrcxcomm.jar or rcxf7port; and not much about lejos, however, if all 4 RCXs try to respond to the tower, you will have collisions. Try covering (...)
