looking for a small generator that pumps 6-15 volts dc at a shaft speed of 1,000 to 5,000 rpm or 10,000 to 20,000rpm.... 12v is the key... but it is to be driven by a .12ci gas motor with a throtle, so maintaining the voltage will have to be left up (...) Hi All, I am a student in Sydney, Australia, and I have successfully got the Polaroid sonar working as well as two quad encoders, however, they both use the digital 0 (rightmose digital pin), has anyone got some code which implements both of these (...) (...) is >there? I don't think so, but I am not an EE major. No, there isn't any harm in using a 1/4 watt in place of a 1/8 watt resistor. The 1/4 watt can handle more power than the 1/8 watt.   Substitute processor question
 
I was looking at the page (URL) instructions on starting the handy board as I just completed the interface. From the parts list, either the MC68HC11A1FN or the MC68HC11E1FN are acceptable, but on this page, the picture of the handy board has an A0FN (...)   Photocell problems
 
I was wondering if someone could check out this code. I got it to work w/ just the touch sensors and motors. But I added photocells to it and added the code in for that and now the LCD panel reads....231>Press START after I press start it says... (...)   Trouble with MAX232
 
Just starting with the HB and already problems Im having problems getting the 9 to 10 volts out of pins 3-7 of J9 (the RS232 connector) when pins 6 and 10 of the MAX232 are shorted in the last paragraph of step 3.2.2. Remover the motor chip closest to you. The pins are correct. I never used a resistor. I don't remeber what the reason for using one is. Perhaps someone can repeat it. I've never used a capacitor either. I've achieve 7" but not lower. Has anyone seen (...) (27 years ago, 18-Jun-97, to lugnet.robotics.handyboard)

But , well I think the better idea ( and most easy of implement ) , is use a digital i/o for detect if exist or not a Handy transmitting to the Pc. My (...)
