I was looking at the page
http://lcs.www.media.mit.edu/groups/el/projects/handy-board/hbassem/hbassem1.htm
l
for instructions on starting the handy board as I just completed the
interface. From the parts list, either the MC68HC11A1FN or the
MC68HC11E1FN are acceptable, but on this page, the picture of the handy
board has an A0FN in it. So, I was going one step further and wondering if
the XC68HC11A0FN would function correctly in the handyboard. As I
understand it, those chips are experimental, but if motorola got it right,
I figure those would be good to use, because I found a bunch at a used
parts store, and I could probably get them cheaper than dirt.
Also, another really quick question. There isn't any harm in putting a 1/4
watt resistor in place of 1/8 watt res. is there? I don't think so, but I
am not an EE major.
