Re: RCX 2.0's tower has a USB port

(...) I just got the Keyspan USB->PDA adapter. It works great on my iBook using MacNQC with an RCX 1.0 (using 2.0 firmware). Cheers, Kevin (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Searching for alternatives

(...) I actually own one of these devices - and I agree that it's *just* the very thing for Lego robotics. Some caveats: * Whilst it has a 'Commercial IR' port and an 'iRDA' port - the CIR is output-only. It's generally believed that the input iRDA (...) (24 years ago, 4-Feb-01, to lugnet.robotics)

(...) [Cross posted to lugnet.robotics.palm] For the Agenda VR3d (Developer/Tech version) it's only $179 USD. That's an incredible price for what you get.   Re: Pneumatic tubing...

I have been using R/C airplane fuel line as an alternative to the Lego tubing. Its made of a different material and has a slightly larger O.D., but the I.D. is good, it fits well, and hasn't popped off (with moderate use). I'm not sure how well it (...)
