I have some tri-colored LEDs I bought last year. They were really expensive (I think $15 each), but they are very cool. They have three leads, and they can make any combination of reds greens and blues. I can't remember where I got them, but there (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I tried this a little when I first made my robot using the red bat wings that come with the set, and I couldn't get a good image through one of them. One of the big problems is that the sensor is mostly infrared, with some red sensitivity. I haven't (...) (25 years ago, 28-Sep-00, to lugnet.robotics)

I'd strongly recommend the Code Pilot set. ((URL) 1,263 pieces, including TWO clutch gears, lots of other gears, a motor, two touch sensors, and cables.
