(...) 8?) Only suggestion I have here is the Darwin developer mailing list(s). Or even the doco with their version may explain how to build a cross-compiler. They may have removed support, though unlikely if configure accepted the h8 target. They (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx.legos)

  Use RCX-ROM-image in a H8/3294?

Hi all, I downloaded and decompiled the ROM-image of my RCX. It uses a H8/3292 which is only available as a Mask-ROM-type. When I look at the code (and at (URL) of course) and compare the addresses with the adress space map in the datasheet of the (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics.rcx)

my VCS Active => new webhosting wanted

Hi folks, It seems like my current webspace provider can't keep up with the high traffic to my website. (argh, it takes about 15 minutes to load a 300K shockwave animation, impossible !) Can someone point me to a descent free webspace provider, (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: legOS on Mac OS X

(...) Dave, first thank you for NQC and its Mac support. If only its collegues weren't such a headache! I am using a serial tower with a Keyspan adapter and the setup works great for NQC following your readme file. I had been wondering though, (...)   Programming RIS 2.0 in C++

I have the RIS 2.0 which comes with RCX 2.0 and the USB tower. I've been searching for several days now and I still can't figure out how to write my own programs in Visual C++ to communicate with the RCX through the USB tower. What is the easiest (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Vision command ActiveX component

Hi ! The server snoozy's place is hosted on seems to be awfull slow ! (2.400 baud modem i guess ;-) ) It takes some time to load it, but it takes more (too much) time to download his ActiveX. I get about 250byte/sec when trying to download it (2.4 (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  VB and the IR tower

I've been trying to figure out how to communicate with the RCX using the IR tower through a VB program. Does anyone out there know how this can be done with Visual Basic. I have a serial tower if that makes a difference. Thanks... (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: accu pack with rcx

However, that isn't the scenario proposed at the start of this thread, which called for (...) (24 years ago, 2-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Vision command ActiveX component

Hi Christer Did you manage to get into snoozy's place? I too am struggling - all I get is an animation of some gears and a message saying 'loading www.snoozysplace.be.tf'. Does it just take a (very) long time to load or am I missing something. I (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Building Robots with Lego Mindstorms

(...) I'll second Ed's comment. This is a fantastic book. The sort of details Mario and Giulio include in the early chapters about the Mechanical Engineering aspects of building robots is great. I love it! Of the Mindstorm books I have so far (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)

Re: Pneumatic pump and switch version 2

(...) To have a pressure sensor would be very nice. You could have multiple of the pumps & switches (using a single air tank). Depending on the pressure the RCX can control the time that is needed to recover pressure. And whenever you need some (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-01, to lugnet.robotics)
