  Re: Some Questions...

(...) It's crucial if you're taking pics of your MOCs. (...) I don't know for sure, but I would expect any camera >1.0Mp would have a macro mode. When I tried out the Canon A20 (2.1Mp) I could only get within about one foot of the subject, WITH (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Brickmania withdraws from Brickshelf

Due to the recent events on Brickshelf, I have decided to permanently withdraw my Brickshelf gallery postings and I will be removing the links from my web site. My reason for this are as follows: 1. While Kevin Loch may OWN Bickshelf, the content is (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish) !!

  Re: Some Questions...

  Re: Some Questions...

(...) I bought my first digital camera in March, and I've never heard of Argus. Kodak made a model called the DC3200, but it was only 1.0 megapixel, and Kodaks don't seem to get the best reviews. This site (that I heard about here on Lugnet) is (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Some Questions...

Can somebody show me an example of a 1.3 megapixel picture? Is 1.3 MP acceptable? Does less resolution = less quality? Does anybody have, or have used an Argus 1.3 megapixel DC3200 digicam? If so, can you review it? Thanks for your time, -JHK (23 years ago, 4-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish.photography)

  Re: 2 Brickshelf Questions + 1 more

  2 Brickshelf Questions

Hi Kevin et. al. 2 quick Brickeshelf-related questions: (1) I notice that the counters aren't increasing anymore - is that something that is going to be reinstated once all of the folders are cleared? (2) Is there any way to change one's password? (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.publish)

Re: Trusted Users (was Re: Geekshelf Question - Vehicle Question)

(...) Sure, I'd even pay $10 to help Kevin out with the site and to have trusted user status. I'm very interested in seeing a solution to this. Brickshelf is a great (free) resource and I applaud Kevin for it. I understand totally his potential (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jul-02, to lugnet.off-topic.geek, lugnet.publish)

Re: Trusted Users (was Re: Geekshelf Question - Vehicle Question)

(...) Agreed. The way I see it (if I may be so bold to suggest this) We all pay $10 (or whatever). Kevin gets money to help run the site and whatnot, and we get to be moderation-free and instant-uploady. Now, of course, if someone directs Kevin to (...) Lindsay & All, (...) I would not mind paying that as well. It would help Kevin and others out. (...) Well, I agree to some extent, I think it is bad when people upload things that have to be monitored. However, some of these monitoring issues are (...)   Re: Trusted Users (was Re: Geekshelf Question - Vehicle Question)

(...) Just as a note, folks - this is what currently is (at least for current content; I'm not sure about new).   Re: Trusted Users (was Re: Geekshelf Question - Vehicle Question)

(...) Likewise. I'd also be happy to pay a small fee to ensure that status-- I'd bet that those who seek to use the site to post idiocy and offensive things would be unwilling to put any amount of money where their mouths are.
