my T.G.B.S.L.I.L.A entry , and Delurking to boot

Hi, I've been lurking for a very, very very long time (the pre Lugnet days of rtl&atl) although I have attended a (URL) meeting before (I brought the Formula 1 microscale model). This is the first of 2 models for T.G.B.S.L.I.L.A. The Freetrader (...) (20 years ago, 26-May-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

Re: Exploits of Empire III Rules

(...) I'll read through the rules once I get a chance - thanks for posting them and all the various ships. Looking forward to the battle reports. -->Bruce<-- (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Exploits of Empire Ships

(...) Well Mr. Dulin, almost all of them do exist at once. There are the main ships, but there are a few variants of some: Frigate: Super frigate, transport frigate Merchantman: Bomb ship, whaler, transport Ketch: Bomb ketch Chameleon ship: can (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Exploits of Empire Ships

(...) Welcome! (...) There's some unusual vessels in your fleet: it's good too see a variety of rigs on smaller vessels (ESPG 'cutter' size). And steam, too! (...) Looking forward to seeing - and hearing - more! Cheers Richie Dulin (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

Re: Exploits of Empire III Rules

(...) You post about them in .pirates, I see your post, steal (in true piratic style) your posted image, make it look spyglassy, upload it to my Brickshelf account, and to some FTX to the sidebar so the image links to your post. It's a fairly new (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Exploits of Empire III Rules

Hello everyone. Here is the crude version of the EOE III website. It contains the rulebook and some advice in the form of a read me file. It also links to the pictures I mentioned in my last post. If you can play it, definately do so and let me know (...) (20 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Exploits of Empire Ships

(...) That's way cool. I'd be real interested to see your rules. -Clangador (2 URLs) (20 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Exploits of Empire Ships

Hello everyone! I've been trying to post for some time and it looks like I have finally been successful. So let me introduce myself and my Lego world. I wrote and operate an Lego Pirate style game called Exploits of Empire III in which characters (...) (20 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) Three of my four ships that have hull sections have center sections made out of bricks. Inverted slope pieces to be exact. I put them under the plate on two of my ships, and another, The Freedom has the plate very close to the bottom, and it (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) You mean like my (URL) Maria> (as in Primo, Duplo and...). Certainly pretty crude by today's Golden Age of .pirates standards. (...) You've certainly carved out quite a niche in the galleon era! Adieu Richie Dulin (URL) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) I had totally forgotten, something I have done before also - The ol' (URL) Fido> uses a two-stud wide centre section, and it blends in quite well IMO ,the trick is to get the colours to match smoothly. Perhaps another subject in the mythical (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Is this cutter to big?

I made a cutter for ESPG. I made it for a friend that is going to play, and he was a little miffed that I made The Pengiun ((URL) for one of my friends and didn't make him a special ship. *Sigh* Here's my question: do you think this ship is to big (...)   Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) Here's my first attempt to build a ship with a center section from bricks. (URL) think it looks okay, but I'm not totally finished with the ship yet, so that could be part of the problem. I see I'm not going to be able to get a grey middle (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) It is a pity there isn't one in dark grey. I think a reasonable centre section can be constructed from bricks, plates and inverse slopes (IIRC the secret is putting the inverse slopes under a plate, not on top). It's not a perfect match, but (...) (20 years ago, 19-May-04, to lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: Narrow boat hull middle

(...) Very rare indeed. They only came in one of the imperial guard sets and the Armada flagship, I believe. What colour are you after?
