(...) Sorry, I've been shutdown for a while... I will be there, got permission from my wife ;-). Still counting those CPs. Jorge Fernandez (24 years ago, 31-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Source for Akro-Mils cabinets?

(...) Hey again... I just received an answer from a customer service rep at Akro-Mils. She gave me several companies' phone numbers and websites to use to try and track down Akro-Mils cabinets, and said that if we were unable to get our needs filled (...) (...) Joe- Sorry to take so long to respond to this. You can find pictures of these storage centers at www.akro-mils.com. Click on the center category ("Home and Office") and then search for part numbers 10136 and 10523. Those are the specific bins (...) (24 years ago, 30-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: More Feb 3 Brikwars questions

Jeff, this lokos great! I love the industrial feel to it - and tehre really are fantastic vantage points for strategic troop placement, great cover, impediments to free movement - wow, I love it! Hi Jeff, (...) We usually just plan on havnig people show up around 10:00 or so ni the morning, take a break for lunch at some point, and play until fatigue rules out.   Re: More Feb 3 Brikwars questions

(...) I got bored and did this anyway. I didn't bother with walls since they'd just make it too difficult to move 'figs around, see things, etc. Please excuse the mess in the background, I haven't cleaned my workbench in a while... Here's a pic of (...) (24 years ago, 29-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  More Feb 3 Brikwars questions

1) Still need the time so's I can make plans. Anyone? 2) Would it be worth making/statting/bringing a second force in case someone wants to come but doesn't have an army? I could possibly do that. 3) Any info on these mysterious other objectives? I (...) (24 years ago, 28-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Brikwars questions

(...) Eh, I looked at it the other way- if it's a TL6 weapon, you can't buy it and modify it to be a TL5 weapon. Still if you've already done it, then I guess it is fair game, so I guess we should go ahead with it. I don't have any really strong (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Brikwars questions

(...) I think what Jeff means here refers to one fo the modification rules at the end of Chapter 2. Basically, by paying an extra point or two, you can increase or decrease the TL of a weapon, much the same way you can increase or decrease its (...)   Re: Brikwars questions

(...) Well, we figured out that you *could* build a single character with the 500 points, and he would be pretty much unstoppable. Since there's nothing in the rules directly limiting that, that's why we decided on the "no trooper can take a given (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Brikwars questions

(...) That'd be a hell of a lot of CP. No, I was thinking about minor improvements - one or two CPs worth. (...) Good. I figured that would be it, because a lot of ppl seem to make models first and then assign Brikwars stats, which is what I plan to (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Defend Yourself at Brikwars

(...) Ah, I'll cop to that. I don't know how well this event is going to mesh with a Karate class at 12:45. I am assuming that means 12:45pm... we'll likely still be playing at that point... Now, if you can convince her to drop you off, to to (...) (24 years ago, 26-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.us.nelug)

(...) Sure, I don't see why not. I don't think anyone's used them before, but it's no biggy. Don't go hog-wild or anything, though, making a sword that does 10d10 damage, that's all. :D (...)   Brikwars questions

OK, in the event that I'm able to make it, I've got a few questions about how the NELUGgers do things, and maybe a few rules questions too... 1) Are we using the customizing weapons rules from the end of Chapter 2? a) If so, are we using the rule to (...)
