Normally with the NGLTC shows we have three elements to our display areas.
First there is the layout itself taking up the majority of the allocated
space, then there is the Kids Railway and last we have a couple of
information tables (also where our video monitor for the camera cars lives).
Here we have some much needed chairs for members to rest their feet, but
also we have some of the out of the box sets displayed (4561, 4559, 4565) a
loop of running track, club fliers and have added coupons from the LEGO
Outlet store.
I think the information tables provide a valuable service to the display as
a whole. It gives the visitors a place to feel comfortable to learn more
about the LEGO train line and what the hobby is all about. Also I think it
helps the public see what can be done with some imagination, first they see
the standard sets then they see the layout and realize that you take the
trains beyond what is in the boxes.
