We'd be more than happy, Eric! Just talked to Suzanne and she said Yup
that's one of the things we talked about doing long ago (before there were
any LUGs at all) so now that the map is starting to fill up, now's a great
time to do it! :-)

The app you're using to make the map -- does it have a "layers" feature?
If so, you could (this is just an idea) start with a blank map, then have
transparency layers that sit on top of it -- one for general LUGs and one
for train clubs. If you exported three composite images (A, B, A+B), then
the different transparencies (layers) could be selected using checkboxes
(i.e., "show train clubs", "show general LUGs", etc.) or a multiple-select
listbox. Just a thought.

Sounds great! At some point a world map may also come in handy. (Hint :-)
BTW, we've got flag image-files at all sorts of sizes -- even itty bitty ones
10 pixels tall which may appear on a new user-friendly homepage. Perhaps
something map-oriented (though not so US-focused) would fit in there too.

| (...) Great! (...) Well the "app" I used for this is about as unsophisticated as you can get. I do have some better "apps" that I can use to see how sophisticated I can make this. | Well this is for all US LUGs so I am posting in lugnet.org.us although I don't know how may people check the general US list so I am copying all the individual LUG Groups with followups to .org.us Anyway I had an Idea for a regional "LUGMAP" that (...)
