Dave it was GREAT to see you come out!  Glad you had fun.

Let me reiterate how nice it is to see people come back to these events.  I
know everyone can't make it out to everyone of them...

I would like to say that this event for me was a BLAST!!!!

It was definetly a good event.  I'm very very happy with the new location.
But let me add to that in another message.

And this would be a good time for me to express to all people out there,
who read this group,  to please post, and join us at the monthly dinners
(meetings)
Many people approached me and said they read this group but do not
post.  I can not stress enuff that we are a very friendly group, and
would love to hear from ALL OF YOU!!

Yes yes yes yes yes. I'll say it a pile more.  In order of ease:

1. Post message as to what you're up to.  This doesn't mean Technic only.
As you know, I often feel I'm the only Town/Train/Boats fan here.

2. Come out to a dinner.  It's low risk, low investment (Dinner is literally
only $6.50) to meet everyone, chat.

3. Attend an Event as a spectator.  Just come out and see what rtlToronto
events are like.

4. Build something for an Event.  I'm really enthusiastic about a
rtlToronto/train event sometime.

One thing I should mention is that NO ONE in rtlToronto, including Chris and
myself, knew each other beforehand.  We've all met through rtl, Lugnet and
other online venues.  So it's not some secret club...the secret club is
right here, and all you have to do to join is to start posting and show up!

It can be a bit disheartening for Calum and Myself to never really know
how many people will show up with a robot.

This is the toughest part of it all. I know it's hard to build something
that works.  I had 75% of a robot.  I brought it anyways.  It wouldn't work
(though Dave Schilling even wrote me some code for it (thanks!)) due to a
hardware problem.  But come out anyways!

Calum
