Not nearly as unique as the internet controlled RoboCam stacking 'bot, but eh, whatever See it here-- (URL) relabel soon, but JavaCam Push is for Internet Explorer users, and Server Push is for basically everyone else but IE. The erase thing isn't as good as I hoped it would be--these magna-doodles have a pretty powerful strip magnet that drags across the bottom--I had to have lots of torque to pull the magnet holder across--actually, the pen holder does the (...) (...) It's a great idea, but then there'd have to be some sort of button for 'take pic' on the page. If I knew more about, well, anything, I would set up a web applet for the webcam software to save a picture when a button on the page is pushed. But (...) I've implemented and changed approriate settings (fixed type-o as well) THe script does something--it runs and will redirect the user to the appropriate page, but it does not copy the file to the specified (...) (...) Well that's my duh! After spending a few weeks trying to secure Apache, I entirely forgot that I took all permissions away except read-only on almost every directory on my website. Well, I actually got around to trying to find out why the webcam wasn't displaying on certain browsers. Turns out that the webcam software I'm using (webcam32) is not compatible with the latest version of Java. So here's a very quick fix--just using (...) OK, Im now back to playing, and building. Ive made a SUPER SIMPLE pan/tilt rig from my craptastic web cam. I want to be able to control the RCX via the interweb.
