I don't honestly think it's a big deal. It's not the clearance of the track,
it's the clearance of the gutter train itself, because the gutter is low enough.
I don't think apart from DaveK's SD70ACe (which doesn't run on the existing
layout) that anyone has a eight wide train. Gutter train is a little bit bigger
than six wide, so that gives you about half a stud of clearance between a wide
six-wide train and the gutter-train. I don't think it's enough of an issue.
