Not a hobby at all? Or just not a hobby in the sense of the types of activities
featured at The Hobby Show?
Or more simply..... is there a difference between an enthusiast and a hobbyist?

Who was doing this in the LEGO booth? Please provide names. They will be dealt
with. ;)

Loud? Well, *some* of you are quiet. ;)
Proud? I'm not sure I know exactly what you mean. Even if you just use LEGO as
a means by which to achieve your other goals (train layouts and/or robots) isn't
it still a pretty cool means to an end?
I guess as much as I enjoy LEGO I still don't see it as a lifestyle. It's a
hobby. But it is one I am proud of and one I don't mind sharing with people,
given the opportunity.

I agree. It does need to be co-ordinated. See my last sentence again. I
wasn't trying to suggest that we just set it free and see who returns. It does
need organizers... plural. Not just one. The 'group' of organizers needs to
split some of the work, help each other to make decisions... etc.
Thanks again,
