Re: Lego Shop @ Home order

(...) I wonder how many dollars have been spent by Canadians through the American Shop at Home in the last year vs. what we would have spent through the old Canadian offices? I know for myself it's an easy figure to come up with. Zero. Nadda. (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Lego Shop @ Home order

I ordered a sizeable order (no deluxe metroliner kit, this time, sorry) I ordered several bulk packs to finish up a small town church, to be unvieled at a future rtl dinner. I also ordered 2 club cars, a dragon rider, and another mcdonalds (...) (23 years ago, 24-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Paradise ABS shop (Brickbay shop)

I spent some time today "tweaking" my inventory. I changed the train items from 2 in a lot to 1 in a lot, put the 4.5 volt motor on sale (20% off), also the metroliner cargo door (10% off). Added a battery tender (from 7722). Sale items are in honor (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Show us the Monkeys!

(...) I'm currently queueing photos. I have my own, Iain Hendry's and Hitoshi Hirota's ready to go. If anyone has any Brickshelf galleries to link to, let me know. I should probably have them up by week's end along with the rtl10 rules. Calum (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: personal challange

(...) no. technically, you could build a robot that picks up ALL the block first and "stores" them in some holder. then put them back in the correct position.   Re: personal challange

(...) Welcome Home, Chris. As for your challenge, I think that is what most people will be doing. I can see how the more mechanical solution of picking them all up and then dumping them through a template could work, but it would be tough to pull it (...)   Re: e-bay finds of the month

(...) Uh, yeah. I think I was making the comparison to the two 4031's I have still in box, so you'd want to compare apples to apples. Why would anyone buy used old Lego?
