  rtl9 was a great success

Hi everyone I guess I wouldn't be the first to say that I had a lot of fun at rtl9. It was very different from my previous experiences with rtl competitions. Instead of stressing about a crappy block eating mechanism that didn't work, or a program (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(tentative) new Toronto lego robot contest

Today's lego contest was a great success and I want to thank everyone who came out today. You helped make it better. Thank You. As usual, after the games several people went out to our favorite hang out and came up with a possible new game. From the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: My Metroliner arrived

(...) Nice.... Congrats to you and Derek.... its a shame that Lego tainted the best 9V train set (IMO) by shipping it haphazardly..... 10000 Guarded Inn (wrong horse), 10001 Metroliner (Wrong windows, and wrong hairpiece), 10002 Club Car (messed up (...)   My Metroliner arrived

Got my Metroliner and Club Car last night. Pretty cool. The box was much smaller then I expected it to be. But its just a simple box full of polly bags. The Metroliner does have the errors that people have been talking about. The small windows have (...) (23 years ago, 12-Oct-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

My baby (monkey) took its first "step"

Well, since some people have been bragging about the success of 16 1/4" robots, and others have built the ferris wheel bot then i feel i can add that as of last night, using one task (so far) my monkey has removed one claw from the bar and reached (...)   Its Alive!
