Re: rtlToronto now officially not the coolest video Lego group

(...) I was joking. Renting a HDTV camera, for example, the Sony HDW-700A HDCAM, the industry standard HDTV broadcast camcorder (basically the DVW-700 Digital Betacam chassis and transport with a HD imager block) rents for about $1500 USD. That's (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  new set for robot lovers

A quick scan of some other groups has shown a new set that might be fun for a different kind of lego battle. set 8539 is one of those (dumb) BIONICLE(?) sets. BUT, it has 2 IR remote transmitter/receiver pairs. from what I can gather from other (...) (23 years ago, 26-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: bridge

Hey Rob.... A suspension bridge sound cool... I think that we would require a dual track bridge or two single track bridges... The tracks should be spaced 8 studs apart with one or two studs clearance on either side..... As for the length of the (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Check out this post about that get-together: (URL) know I read more posts about it, but I didn't find them quickly. Play well. Tim (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

rtlToronto now officially not the coolest video Lego group

I was browsing Brickshelf and saw this: (URL) appears to be a Sony DXC-D30 head docked to a PVV1 BetaCam SP recorder. This is infinitely cooler than the Panasonic AJ-D215H DVCPRO I used at rtlToronto/4: (URL) officially means rtlToronto is the no (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: I got an RCX!!!

I'll never go back!! You can't make me!!! (Dave is dragged kicking and screaming down the hall towards the inevitable realization that without the RCX, he probably wouldn't have his LEGO collection at this time) Oh. Well, that settles that... Stay (...) (23 years ago, 25-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  bridge

Okay all you train guys, How long do you want your bridge to be? I am probably going to make a suspension bridge, since that wouldn't require millions of beams that I don't have. Also, what about a dual track bridge? This would have to be shorter, (...) (23 years ago, 24-Jul-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Re: Train2 Modules
