  Re: Regarding the rope climbing

(...) Do you mean like climbing the rope by rolling it up onto a drum or something like that? I think that would be a legitimate and different way to climb the rope. The only problem is determining when the entire robot has passed the, you must be (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

  Regarding the rope climbing

I have kind of a nagging question about rtl16: The rules as discussed so far do not prohibit one from simply grabbing the bottom of the rope and then twirling the claw, thus wrapping it up. Or is this a legitimate way of 'climbing' the rope? Mike (21 years ago, 22-Feb-04, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

(...) A good response is was, too. It ought to be an interesting production. Here's hoping the hyper-sensitive don't go crazy and read silly things into it once it's in their hands (er, on their screens). Sheesh. I've been pretty much staying out of (...) (...) Thanks Ben. I did find it on my own, and just spent FAR TOO LONG reponding to it. I'm kind of blind-sided by the whole thing.   Re: What in the...
