  Re: your next meeting

(...) Let's do it next Friday, the 15th. 'Cause my Grandparents are moving this weekend and I am gonna be busy helping them. Besides, my hamster, Gideon can't reach the door handle. :-) Jude (23 years ago, 7-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: your next meeting

(...) That's a good question. Jude, when will you have time? Jeff, is there any days that are bad/good for you? How is Friday evening for everyone? Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  your next meeting

Hi, could you tell me when would you hold your next meeting? I would like to participate, unless you want to plan merger (absortion) of MonLUG :-( in EOQLUG. Martin (23 years ago, 5-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Creator 'parts packs'

I checked out the parts list on some of the Creator sets at TRU yesterday. The smaller sets don't have a lot of special parts/colours, but I've done up a list of some of the special/hard-to-find parts for the larger sets. There is a ot more than (...)   Re: MonLUG Meeting

(...) Happy to see none of you in the orbituaries column just yet. The weather is obviously not a Lego fan. (...) It was a pleasure meeting you.   Re: Incoherant stuff about last night's meeting

(...) Nope, I certainly did not. I called the night guy and said "I'm going to be late.", set by alarm for 9am, and was asleep around 4:30am. I got to work at 9:30am, so that wasn't too bad. And I'd do it again... only I wish it hadn't been raining (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.monlug, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

Hi Tim, I know what you mean. For a while I was trying to get a 4558 on ebay but they always kept going way too high. However I have finally won my metroliner - two of them in fact! There was two 4558 in one auction from a guy in Germany - no track (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment, lugnet.trains)

  MonLUG Meeting

Well, Jude and I are safely home from our Montreal tour. Pouring rain made our trip back to Ottawa somewhat longer than the trip to Montreal, but it was worth it. Thanks for having us, or me, seeing as Jude is actually a card-carrying MonLUG member. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.org.ca.monlug, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

(...) Oh yeah I saw those pieces - quite rare indeed! The average person would just overlook those pieces. :) Good luck in your quest to get your hands on a metroliner! Bryan (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

(...) I won a pair of fake electrical contacts for the top of the Metroliner. (URL) going to collect mine piece by piece. Just kidding. I am bidding on 2 right now, and God willing, I hope to get one of them. I'm getting desperate... Tim Strutt 8^) (23 years ago, 31-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

Re: 7121+7161 for $30 at WalMart Lincoln Field

(...) Hi Kevin, Glad to see someone else is cashing in on the good deals. I was tempted by all those rollback items, but I thought I'd see how much I could get them for in a 20-40% off sale, if the Bay, TRU or Zellers happens to have any sales soon. (...)   Re: Train1

(...) Well, I managed to 'draft' a couple of Quebecois on my way, doing an average of about 160 for at least half the trip, and made it in 3.5 hours. It was on the west end of Toronto too. Probably the fastest I've ever made the trip, and most (...) (23 years ago, 27-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

  Re: Train 1

(...) Check this out. I made it down to Toronto for Train1, and it was a great time. Much of my rolling stock made it into the pictures, and Calum was openly impressed with my collection of 4537 Twin Tank Transport's (all 6 of them). You can see the (...)
