Just overlap the baseplates to give the result you want.
As long as it fits on a 4'x10' table and the tracks are where they're
supposed to be, the baseplates etc. are irrelevant (to me). :-)

The baseplates should be lined up with the inside, not with the outside of the tracks, if that makes sense - there's an extra 8 studs of baseplate on the outside of this: (TD (...) (24 years ago, 25-Jan-01, to lugnet.org.ca.nalug)
