I don't think that they even _have_ an uncompressed mode. 1024x768x24bit =
2.3M. Too big for a floppy.
The FD-based mavicas, from what I've heard, do reallly nasty jpeg
compression in order to fit stuff in such a small space.
Compact flash is the way to go. (or superdisk, but that's what librettos are
for. *grin* Unfortunately, they're hard to find cheap anymore.)
