Periodically (every month or so) Lugnet wants me to re-register and be re-verified, even though there is a cookie for Lugnet in the cookies.txt file in my Netscape directory. (...) Thanks for the correction. Yes, it is indeed the 'Precedence' header and not the 'X-Precedence' header. The outgoing news-to-mail gateway on LUGNET sets 'Precedence' to 'list' for both regular and digest messages. --Todd [followups to (...) They possibly do...I checked your message, and it's Precedence, NOT X-Precedence....is this something you could check on and fix if required? Dave, I've gotten that message too. I believe he subscribes to the newsgroup via email, so it autoreplies anyone who sends him mail - which in this case was you (via the lugnet newsgroup).
